1. Name and legal regime
The association is called La Fàbrica Granollers. It is a non-profit entity incorporated in 2004 under Catalan Law 4/2008 of 24 April, Book Three of the Catalan Civil Code.
2. Registered office and scope
Registered in Granollers (Vallès Oriental, Catalonia, Spain). The main territorial scope is the Vallès Oriental region.
3. Aims
The aims of the association are:
- To foster meeting and conviviality among members.
- To promote harm reduction and personal responsibility.
- To defend the Catalan associative model as a form of community management.
- To carry out cultural and educational activities among members.
4. Members
Requirements
- Be over 21 years old.
- Be registered in or resident of Catalonia, or connected to the area.
- Be introduced by a current member or have requested an interview.
- Accept these bylaws and the internal rules.
Member rights
- Participate in general assemblies with voice and vote.
- Stand for election to the governing bodies.
- Use the space and activities under the internal rules.
- Request and receive information on activities and finances.
Member duties
- Comply with the bylaws and internal rules.
- Pay the membership dues.
- Maintain the discretion and conviviality that characterise the association.
5. Governance
The association is governed by the general assembly (sovereign body) and the board (executive body), democratically elected by the assembly.
6. Financial regime
The association is funded by member dues. No surplus is distributed. All economic activity serves the associative aims and is audited annually by the board.
7. Dissolution
In the event of dissolution, any remaining assets will be transferred to non-profit entities with similar aims, as decided by the assembly.
